Western Caribbean Cruise
January 22 - 28   2005

Norwegian Dream
Launched 2002,  2,224 passangers

With good friends John and Marlene Major

Arrived in New Orleans a day early. Toured Bourbon Street, devoured beignets at Cafe du Monde, rode the street car through the Garden District for a view of the amazing mansions and of course had breakfast at Mother's Restaurant.

Found our cabin and enjoyed a bon voyage champange.

Lets check out the excursions.

Time for the abandon ship drill.

Now this is the way

to start a cruise

Looks like Holand America beat us to the dock in Cosumel

We chose the speed boat excursion to Hideaway Beach.

Our friends chose the ATVs.  Guess they didn't get the memo.

Clean up pretty good.

In Belize, we chose to take the cave tubing adventure.  They forgot to tell us the cave was full of bats!

Arrived in Roatan, Honduras.

We were bused across the island to a private beach for a whole day of laying under a palm tree, snorkling, reading, sleeping interspersed with repeated trips to the BBQ and bar.

On our way to Cancun.  Notice the full moon.

In Cancun we took a long bus ride down the coast to the Tulum ruins.
