Dunedin is a large town (120,000).

Our hotel is located in center of downtown. Walked down to the wharf for dinner. Not very impressive (both dinner and the harbor).

Early start to the very end of the Otago Peninsula to see the worlds only mainland Albatross breeding site in the world.

OOOPs. We arrived too early. The center is not open yet.

Decided to not wait for the center to open.
Never did see an Albatross.

Backtracked to visit the Larnach Castle.

Barbara is checking to see if any one is home.

As soon as we were invited in, Barbara made a beeline for the turret.

She was rewarded with amazing views.

Then we took a long walk through the lovely gardens.
