Drove to Vancouver via Whidbey Island. Tried to find Mutiny Bay Resort where I spent my summer vacations as a boy. Sadly, it has been demolished and replaced with private homes. |
The line at the border wasn't very long but it was extremely slow. Our line had a suspicious van at the gate that took for ever to pull out of line for further inspection. We were in line for over an hour. Word is that the line returning to the US is even worse (2+ hours). Not looking forward to that day. |

Since it was a Sunday, the drive into Vancouver was easy. Our VI condo is called the Rosedale on Robson Hotel. A very nice hotel centrally located in downtown. The room has been nicely remodeled. We're on the 15th floor in a corner suite room with a great view. |
